Rally UHC Cycling today announces a new partnership with ROKA Sports. The team will be equipped with ROKA Advanced Performance eyewear, the lightest and most advanced high-performance optics in the world.
“As soon as they slipped on ROKA sunglasses, our riders immediately noticed how light they were compared to any other eyewear they’ve tried,” said Managing Director Charles Aaron. “On the road, they loved the improved lens clarity and ability to shed dirt in bad conditions.”
All Rally UHC riders will have their choice of optics from ROKA’s Advanced Performance collection, the realization of more than two years of R&D by ROKA’s eyewear team. Every style features ultra-lightweight materials without compromising durability, including an adjustable titanium core for a customized fit, and a patented GEKO™ fit and retention system. Weighing in at only 21 – 28 grams, ROKA’s Advanced Performance eyewear beats the market on weight while offering unmatched fit and retention for the most challenging race and training conditions.
“It’s an honor for us to partner with the United States’ premier men’s and women’s Pro Continental team,” says ROKA CEO and Co-founder Rob Canales. “These world-class riders push the limits of human performance each and every day and inspire us to push the limits of eyewear technology to meet their demands.”
ROKA was founded in 2013 by a pair of former Stanford swimming teammates with the mission to create the world’s best triathlon wetsuit. ROKA began manufacturing ultra-lightweight performance sunglasses in 2016 and opened a state-of-the-art eyewear lab in Southern California in 2017. Less than a year after launching the Advanced Performance collection, ROKA eyewear was worn by multiple Tour de France stage winners, and Olympic speed skating champion, and the winner of the 2018 Dakar Rally.
